Camels, characters and corn all made appearances at the Greater St. Louis Hispanic Festival, held September 26-28, 2014. Moving to Soulard after a few years downtown, the Hispanic Festival highlighted food and drink from Mexico, Dominican Republic, Belize and more while sharing Hispanic culture through dance, art and even an exotic petting zoo.
This year's installment of Oktoberfest in Soulard kicked off in fine form Friday, October 10, 2014. Taking place near Soulard Market, the annual tradition celebrates German culture with lederhosen, music, sausages and so, so much delicious beer. The festival continues Saturday, October 11, and Sunday, October 12.
Owners and their pups came out to walk in the 2015 Beggin' Pet Parade while crowds gathered to watch. Some people came dressed to match their dogs while others went all out and built mini-floats. Blues Traveler delivered a rocking performance of covers and old favorites.
