They're baaack! Every year, BandTogether presents a holiday program in December. Our town's GLBTA concert band takes great pride in not only delivering a great performance, but in curating a great selection of music. Drawing from the well of popular songs, Christmas carols, film scores and sacred music for this show, the more than 100 musicians in BandTogether consistently deliver a high-energy, entertaining evening. And of course, the finale will be the band's cracking rendition of "Sleigh Ride." It's become a tradition after fourteen years, and there's no stopping it now. BandTogether blows the doors off the 560 Music Center (560 Trinity Avenue, University City; at 8 p.m. this evening. Admission is free, but consider donating a few bucks to help the band out.
