Ten years ago, the Supersuckers grilled up a bacon-and-eggs country record on par with anything released by the country and/or alt-country establishment. Like Ween's 12 Golden Country Greats, Must've Been High was equal parts satire and tribute — a digression in an otherwise walloping rock catalog that the Seattle band touts as the greatest in the world. Recent albums like Motherfuckers Be Trippin' and Paid sound like the soundtrack for GNR-jacket-wearing mofos who stomp on rednecks, while a series of live releases gives props to the groupies who stuck with Eddie Spaghetti & Company through two sucktastic decades of lewd and tattooed performances.
