Everything in the bar- from the nostalgic black-and-white checkered tile floor and vinyl-wrapped stools to the domestic beer taps and even the craggy face of the bartender - seems to be covered in a sticky film of nicotine tar. But don't let that discourage you. The regulars of this establishment won't mind telling you that they wear its smoky status as a type of defiant badge, an uncompromising marker of its stand against tyranny. In addition to its fun crowd, the bar offers a solid menu of meat-heavy bar fare (try the "Fricken Ruben") and shuffleboard. Who doesn't like shuffleboard?
