There are so many ways, means and forms to celebrate Christmas in this city -- so how about we all have a sit-down and enjoy a serenade in the soft glow of candlelight. The Bach Society of St. Louis warms up a chilly evening with its Christmas Candlelight Concert. The evening includes a performance of Bach's Gloria in excelsis, beloved Christmas carols sung with audience participation and Craig Courtney's A Musicological Journey through the Twelve Days of Christmas. The concert takes place at 7:30 p.m. at Powell Hall (718 North Grand Boulevard; 314-652-2224 or www.bachsociety.org). Tickets are $25 to $75.
