Unlike in spelling or biochemical engineering, there aren't really any right or wrong answers in art and music classes — just different forms of expression. At least, that's what you'd tell the teacher when you painted your desk purple or used Timmy as a glockenspiel. The Jennings School District students who participated in the special 2Read+2Write=4Music after-school program have been able to show their creativity by writing, recording and producing an original CD that they'll perform at 6 p.m. at the New North Side Family Life Center (5939 Goodfellow Boulevard; 314-381-5730). The show costs $5, which includes the kids' CD. For more information about this special after-school program — and the exhibit of photographs the students took of one another throughout the year — visit pprc.umsl.edu or call 314-653-8080.
