Twisted Bull Saloon

Like so many south-county bars, this one is nestled in a strip mall, amid a massive parking lot. On Friday and Saturday nights, there's a line of people out the door waiting to shell out their $5 to the bouncers. It's billed as a country bar (the word "saloon," we find, is usually a tip-off), but you won't find hay bales and Montgomery Clift posters here, just a large circular bar, Top-40 on the P.A. system and a wall of denim, interspersed with the occasional bandage-dress/stilettos combo.
