'80s at 8

Many things about the 1980s need to stay in the 1980s (constant fear of nuclear annihilation and towering mall bangs, we're looking at you). However, the music from this time period was nothing short of magic, and fortunately for us, the good folks over at the Gateway Men's Chorus agree. For this season's final concert, The '80s Show!, the talented group goes back to the decade of its founding and reclaims the '80s in a big and awesome way, with huge jams from Michael Jackson, Cyndi Lauper, Wham! and others. The concerts are held at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday (June 13 and 14) at Washington University's Edison Theatre (6445 Forsyth Boulevard). For more information and to purchase tickets, which cost $25, visit www.gmcstl.org.
