Art as Life

Based on the life of pioneering contemporary-art collector Peggy Guggenheim, Woman Before a Glass: A Triptych in Four Parts is the penultimate production of the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis' season. Lanie Robertson's adaptation is a one-woman show; from the comfort of her Venetian palazzo-cum-gallery, Peggy chronicles her many romantic conquests and the acquisition of her prodigious collection. It is the latter that concerns her most — what will happen to it when she dies? Find out at 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, in the Emerson Studio Theatre at the Loretto-Hilton Center (130 Edgar Road, Webster Groves; 314-968-4925 or www.repstl.org) for $39 to $50. The show continues through Sunday, April 1 (daily, except for Monday).
Tuesdays-Sundays. Starts: March 14. Continues through April 1
