Your mother brought you into this world, now it's your turn to take her out. There is no better time to show your mom how much you love and appreciate her than Mother's Day. This year, why not supplement those tried-and-true Mother's Day flowers and chocolates with some real quality time together browsing the Laumeier art fair? Laumeier Sculpture Park (12580 Rott Road, Sunset Hills; 314-615-5278 or www.laumeier.org) hosts the bazaar of handcrafted work covering every discipline from glass and ceramics to painting and jewelry from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday (May 10 through 12). Admission is $5 to $10, but be sure to bring your wallet in case you want to get something nice for the world's greatest mom.
