At Last, Playoff Hockey

As of this writing, the St. Louis Blues have trudged another rough and rocky road of a season; their playoff chances are looking pretty remote (never say never to a miracle, though). Regardless of what fate befalls the 'Note this spring, you can still enjoy a nice blast of playoff-level hockey downtown courtesy of some talented collegiate skaters competing to advance to the nationals. The NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey West Regional semifinals and finals take place this Friday and Saturday (March 25 and 26) at Scottrade Center (1401 Clark Avenue; 314-241-1888 or www.scottradecenter.com). The semifinals are contested at 4:30 and 8 p.m. Friday, and the puck drops for the regional final contest at 8 p.m. Saturday. Tickets for individual games are $19 to $29, or you can buy an all-session pass for just $39.
