Bath Night with Lebowski

January is "national bath month," as odd as that seems. March just feels more like bath month, right? Be that as it may, this is the rub-a-dub-dub month, and so the Central Branch of the St. Louis Public Library (1301 Olive Street; 314-241-2288 or www.slpl.org) marks the occasion with the Rinse and Repeat film series. Every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. the library screens a film famous for a bathroom scene, and tonight is an unlikely subject: The Big Lebowski. True, the Coen Brothers' cult classic does prominently feature main man the Dude meeting a marmot in a bathtub, but it's not necessarily the first thing you recall about the film. But never look a gift marmot in the mouth; every month is The Big Lebowski month. Admission is free.
