Attention parents of tween- and teen-aged girls: Todays your chance to prove to your daughters what youve been telling them for years -- that girls can do anything boys can do. Just take these young ladies to the NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass & Kick Competition, which is hosted by the St. Louis Slam, the full-contact female pro-football team, at 2 p.m. at CBC High School (1850 De La Salle Drive, Town & Country). This skills contest is open to eight- to fifteen-year-olds of both genders, and it has kids contending against other boys or girls in their own age group. Those who do the best today move on to other competitions, and they could end up at the national finals. Punting, passing and kicking are free, and more information can be found at www.nflyouthfootball.com. (And if you miss this PPK opportunity, other events are held throughout the area; visit the Web site for specifics.)
