Chase away those St. Louis blues as a host of mighty morphin' flower pollen exchangers take flight! During March Morpho Mania, more than 1,000 bright blue Morpho butterflies (Morpho peleides) are released into the carefully controlled environment of the Butterfly House's tropical conservatory at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday (February 28 through March 29) — and then you get to walk in and mingle with them. Morpho butterflies are among the most beautiful of all species and their metallic, shimmering blue wings have made them an area favorite. The Butterfly House at Faust Park (15193 Olive Boulevard, Chesterfield) is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $4 to $6, and all activities (including the Morpho release) are free with admission. For more information, call 636-530-0076 or visit www.butterflyhouse.org.
