Certainly you're familiar with the dread of laying awake deep in the night, cudgeling your brain with the same question, trying to puzzle out an answer you know exists but you just can't apprehend. "Was Genghis Khan a boxers man, or did he rock the tighty-whities?" Rest easy tonight, friend, the answer is at hand. Bev Schuetz discusses the secret truth of Genghis' basement furnishings in her presentation, "The Naked Truth About Undergarments," at 7 p.m. tonight at the Missouri History Museum (Lindell Boulevard and DeBaliviere Avenue; 314-746-4599 or www.mohistory.org). Schuetz's discussion ties in to the museum's current exhibit, Underneath it All, which explores the history of underwear. Admission is free to both the lecture and the exhibit. Spoiler Alert: Ghengis Khan wore neither; he's actually the inventor of the G-string, of course.
