Usually one too many beers can lead to stripteases, but seldom do stripteases lead to one too many beers. Not so tonight, when Beer-Lesque: Tastings and Tassels unleashes an incomparable pairing of beers from Deschutes Brewery, Oregon's award-winning craft beer, with burlesque performances at Cicero's (6691 Delmar Boulevard, University City). Lola Van Ella and Sammich the Tramp are joined by Naughty Pierre, who acts as master of ceremonies and beer guide. Deschutes beers such as its Mirror Pond Pale Ale, Black Butte Porter, Chainbreaker White IPA, Twilight Summer Ale and Deschutes River Ale flow from 8 p.m. to midnight, and the burlesque show starts at 9:30 p.m. Tickets cost $5 to $10, and you must be 21 or older to attend.
