Butterflies and Burritos

If you were to go out to lunch with your mother at Qdoba, how much trouble would you get into if you put your feet on your burrito and then snorted the sour cream out of it? Tons of trouble. But if you were a butterfly, that’s exactly what you’d do to eat: Butterflies taste with their feet and eat with their proboscis. What’s acceptable behavior for butterflies is not always acceptable behavior for kids. But both children and butterflies need lunch; every Sunday in August, kids with a paid admission ($4 for those younger than twelve) to the Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House (15193 Olive Boulevard, Chesterfield; 636-530-0076 or www.butterflyhouse.org) receive a voucher for a free kid’s meal at the Chesterfield Qdoba (16898 Chesterfield Airport Road). A Sunday trip with a meal? Not a bad deal, even if your taste buds are on your feet.
