Da Vinci Machines Exhibition

More than 60 inventions hand-built by Florentine craftsmen bring the genius of Leonardo da Vinci's mechanical designs to St. Louis for the first time. This hands-on display includes da Vinci's innovative hang glider, his bicycle, his spring-powered car and the air screw, da Vinci's ingenious prototype for the helicopter -- all drafted 500 years ago ty the visionary Renaissance Man. The Da Vinci Machines Exhibition is on display at the Bank of America Building (800 Market Street; www.davinciexhibitstl.com) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through Tuesday, February 28, and admission is $9 to $14.
