Doggie Days of Summer

Having fun on four legs

Sep 3, 2008 at 4:00 am
Can we talk about how great dogs are for a minute? They never have a bad day, even if you do. Plus, they're super cuddly and always willing to offer up kisses to anyone they meet. Seriously, could they be any sweeter? O'Fallon, Missouri, knows the awesomeness of pups, and the town celebrates them during the Doggie Day activities. Sign your furry friend up for a 5K run/walk ($12 per dog), let your four-legged buddy find some treats in the bone hunt ($7), and take your puppy pal to the pool to cool off during Pool Paws ($10). The day of doggieness begins at 8:30 a.m. and keeps going until 2 p.m. at Civic Park (Civic Park Drive and Woodlawn Avenue, O'Fallon); to register for one or all of the events, call 636-474-2732 or visit www.renaudspiritcenter.com.
