Your high standards require you to strive for perfection. You don't accept mistakes from yourself, and, in fact, you're confident you've only made two errors in your life (they were typos) — and you cried for days after discovering them. So what's this loon Shakespeare going on about with The Comedy of Errors? What could possibly be funny about a series of misunderstandings? Actually, plenty. Two sets of separated-at-birth twins end up in the same town, spouses and servants get them all mixed up, and you can only imagine the silliness that ensues. Well, perhaps perfect you can't envision the fun, so make it easier on yourself and just go see the play already. Webster University's Conservatory of Theatre Arts puts on The Comedy of Errors in the Browning Theatre of the Loretto-Hilton Center (130 Edgar Road, Webster Groves) Friday through Tuesday (November 17 through 21); all performances are at 8 p.m. except Sunday's 2 p.m. matinee show.
