Karen Joy Fowler, the acclaimed author of The Jane Austen Book Club, comes to the Buder branch of the St. Louis Public Library (4401 Hampton Avenue; 314-352-2900 or www.slpl.org) to discuss her new book, Wit’s End. A mysterious tale that entraps the reader in several webs, this novel weaves the complex story of a young woman’s search for the truth about her possibly homicidal father while dealing with a troubled relationship with her godmother, who happens to write mysteries.
