FWD: Funny Cat Videos Inside

You know the type of person who gripes and whines about there being too many cat videos on Facebook? We're not that guy; as far as we're concerned, you can't have too many photos and videos of the squirrely, photogenic buggers. That's why the Internet Cat Video Festival at the Contemporary Art Museum (3750 Washington Boulevard; 314-535-4660 or www.camstl.org) is our cuppa green tea. This 73-minute compilation of popular online cat videos is the creation of the Walker Art Center, and it requires a panel of jurors to select the best films in categories such as comedy, drama and musical. In addition to watching lots of cat shenanigans onscreen, attendees can have fun with face painting and artist-led activities. Tenth Life Cat Rescue will also be present to provide you the option of adopting your very own live, furry, future video star. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday (July 18 and 19); the videos roll at 7:30 p.m. The cost is $10 for general admission and $20 for limited VIP level, which includes reserved seating at screening time.
Fri., July 18, 5:30 p.m.; Sat., July 19, 5:30 p.m., 2014
