Hockey's back and hopes are high, as they always are in St. Louis around this time of year. Sure, we still don't have that ownership situation nailed down, and the supremely gifted David Perron is still working his way back to the ice (suck a puck, Joe Thornton), but the game is on at last. The 'Note's second home game of the season is a rare weekday matinee, as the St. Louis Blues face-off against the Calgary Flames at 1 p.m. at Scottrade Center (1401 Clark Avenue; 314-241-1888 or
www.scottradecenter.com). The Flames retooled quite a bit in the off season, but Jarome Iginla's still their biggest offensive threat and old friend Lee Stempniak is among their number as well -- don't let that stop you from booing him, though. Tickets are $25 to $180.
