Who knew that St. Louis was essentially the melting pot of the Midwest? The Gateway Men's Chorus, that's who, and the group celebrates the city's cultural diversity with two holiday concerts. The Season in the City includes music selections that reflect St. Louis' 250th birthday and pay homage to African American, Catholic, German, Jewish and Irish communities. By celebrating a little bit from every tradition, the concert is bound to be a welcome breath of fresh air, perfect for kicking off the chorus' 28th concert season and ushering in a new year.
