Found magazine's Davy and Peter Rothbart aren't the only people who find found stuff fun — all manner of folks have been inspired by items they've discovered. From Dave Eggers to Chuck D, and from Patton Oswalt to Andy Samberg, they've all come across a little (or a lot of) something, and these people and many others share their experiences in Requiem for a Paper Bag: Celebrities & Civilians Tell Stories of the Best Lost, Tossed & Found Items from Around the World, a book edited by Davy. He and his brother roll into town on the Denim & Diamonds Tour to celebrate newfound castoffs and the essays in the new book; as per usual Peter performs songs about found stuff. The evening of chance happens at the Mad Art Gallery (2727 South 12th Street; 314-771-8230 or www.madart.com); the doors open at 7 p.m., and admission is $5.
