Glasses Are Fuller

Oh, to pick the brains of the dead! Wait, that came out wrong. Relax, zombie-hunters — what we mean is that it would be incredibly educational to be able to have a sit-down with those who have gone before us to the great beyond. Some might want to hang with dead rock stars, but not us; we think our lives would be most enriched by an artist, especially one as forward-thinking as R. Buckminster Fuller, he of the geodesic dome (the Climatron at the Missouri Botanical Garden is an example). Of course, we can't actually visit with Bucky, but we can have Drinks with Buckminster Fuller at White Flag Projects (4568 Manchester Avenue; 314-531-3442 or www.whiteflagprojects.org). During this special happy-hour event, cocktails are served from 5 to 7 p.m., and an interview with the architect/artist/inventor is screened at 6 p.m. Admission is free.
