Going Bald

For many people the best part of the winter season ended when the last ornament was removed from the Christmas tree, but not for those of us at Night & Day Global Industries. Oh sure, we enjoy observing the December holidays, too, but we think the most wonderful time of the year happens in January when the majestic bald eagles soar along our rivers. Join us in getting back to nature and celebrating their arrival not by decorating our homes in the fishly delights and donning faux-feather eagle costumes (though that last one could be fun), but instead by heading over to the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge (10950 Riverview Drive) for Eagle Days. The free festival runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday (January 17 and 18), and during that time an eagle program — with a real, live eagle! — is held every twenty minutes (from 10 a.m. to 2:40 p.m.), and volunteers will help people spot the beautiful birds through scopes on the bridge. Plus, Lewis & Clark reenactors welcome the feathered friends, and various interactive displays will also be set up.
