Hello, Stranger

Every Man for Himself/God Against All, the current group exhibition at White Flag Projects (4568 Manchester Avenue; 314-531-3442 or www.whiteflagprojects.org), presents art that explores the concept of becoming a stranger. Aiding this exploration is a weekly film series rife with great movies that embrace the stranger. Not so coincidentally, the series debuts at 7 p.m. this evening with Werner Herzog's amazing The Enigma of Kaspar Hauser or Every Man for Himself and God Against All. Based on the true story of a German youth with a mysterious background, Herzog's film features outsider artist Bruno S. as Kaspar. All films are free and screen at 7 p.m. on Wednesday and Saturday through April 19.
