The beauty of the craft website Etsy is that a simple fifteen-minute search can introduce you a plethora of objects you never knew existed but that you need right now. Here are some creations by local Etsy-ers.

Cocoa with Sherlock Photo Notecard by Mysterious Jottings.

"The perfect notecard for the mystery or Sherlock Holmes fan, suitable for everyday or for wishing someone a Happy Birthday or 'Compliments of the Season.' My own original photo depicting a cup of cocoa and Sherlock-shaped cookie atop one of the adventures and with a Holmes spoon to boot, is affixed to a 5-1/8" x 7-3/8 acid and lignin free notecard, blank inside, with plenty of interior room for writing. On the back, for added fun, an English recipe for succulent Old English Prime Rib. Matching envelope is included. The recipient will delight in your thoughtfulness when you send this special card."

But where do you get a Sherlock-shaped cookie-cutter?

Original Handmade Sculpey Creature - Purple Mroosaur by Mrooart.

Mroosaur Facts - Most have black, orange, or purple skin - Their feet color vary wildly - When in love, their skin changes color - When lovesick, their tails intertwine and their ears overlap - They traveled from planet Meru in search of human friends Please note: Mroosaurs, while able to withstand some amount of abuse (I've dropped several before with little or no breakage), are not intended to be toys. Instead, they are meant to be cute creatures which sit on your desk/shelf/monitor/nightstand/etc.

Sleigh Bells, Circa 1850s, Swedish Rump Strap sold by STLvintage (who currently has a Christmas in July sale)

These are very collectible. I acquired these from an antique dealer who travels all over. They are Swedish and are circa mid 1800s. These were used on the "rump" of the horse. They have a very beautiful sound. They would look great displayed with your primitive collection or just to collect.

EVEN SANTA LOVES ANTIQUES!

Indeed he does.
