Fellow beer lovers: let us give thanks. We must be living through a golden (don’t expect us to pass up a beery pun) age of craft beers and homebrewing. As for the former, our city is sprouting new craft breweries like leaves from spring trees; regarding the latter, homebrewing has never been more popular nationwide and St. Louis is no exception.
Hats off to Homebrewers celebrates this evergreen tradition tonight from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the International Tap House in Soulard (1711 South Ninth Street; 314-621-4333 or
www.internationaltaphouse.com/soulard). For $25 per person, you can meet the ace brewmasters from Perennial Artisan Ales and Deschutes Brewery and enjoy lots of sudsy shop talk. You'll also get three beer samples from each brewery, which will be paired with three gourmet tacos from Chef Jason Tilford (Mission Taco Joint). On top of all that you'll also receive a full glass of an exclusive collaborative brew. Custom-crafted, small-batch beer was never easier to love.
