Absolutely sick of your winter clothes -- the bulky coats! the scratchy sweaters! -- you were thrilled to pack away those items and bring back your warm-weather wears. Alas, that recent grand unveiling left you feeling somewhat unwell, too, and deeply questioning what you wore last summer. You remembered feeling stylish, but now, you're not so sure what you were thinking. To help you regain some confidence without losing a bunch of money, the Missouri History Museum (Lindell Boulevard and DeBaliviere Avenue; 314-746-4599 or www.mohistory.org) has a suggestion: the Swap-O-Rama-Rama! At this upcycling clothing switcheroo, folks have the opportunity to trade out and improve upon their ensembles with other like-minded folks. Participation is easy and free — just bring a bag of clean, unwanted clothes, browse the goodies that others brought and pick out things you like. Then, head to the room full of volunteers, who will help you switch up your new stuff and make it truly yours, with alterations, embellishments and the like — so crafty! The swapping fun happens from noon to 4 p.m., but you'd be wise to get your unwanted items together now so you don't miss out on the fun.
