A Hungarian Gypsy who plays the violin with unsurpassed passion and fluidity, Lakatos moves easily between the worlds of jazz, classical and Hungarian folk music. The Roby Lakatos Ensemble performs at 8 p.m. at the Touhill Performing Arts Center on the University of Missouri-St. Louis campus (1 University Drive at Natural Bridge Road; 314-516-4949 or Tickets are $25.
