Scandal, murder and sultry convicts heat up the Muny this summer in the Tony- and Oscar-winning Chicago. Infamous murderesses Roxie Hart (Patti Murin), Velma Kelly (Natascia Diaz) and company sing and shimmy their way from crimes to punishments; there’s no room for repentance in a prison where each gal wants to shine the brightest, having reached celebrity status for their bloodthirsty crimes of passion and revenge. The goal isn’t merely to survive, but it's to seduce the fickle, charm the media and win over the jury while clinging to fame.
