They come to town to wage a two-pronged war on everything that is wrong with this country. Chicago's legendary Second City brings its traveling show, Fair & Unbalanced — where ever did they get that title? — at 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday and at 5 and 9 p.m. Saturday (April 28 through 30), at the Touhill Performing Arts Center on the University of Missouri-St. Louis campus (1 University Boulevard at Natural Bridge Road; 314-516-4949 or www.touhill.org). The troupe uses scripted bits and improv technique to take dead aim at the CEOs, the senators, the celebutantes and all the other carbuncles that have accreted on our national psyche. Will their methods rid us of these parasites? No, but you'll feel better about their continued existence. Tickets to Second City: Fair & Unbalanced are $36 to $164 and include several cabaret-style seating options at the higher end.
