Have you ever watched Upright Citizens' Brigade and thought, "I could do that!"? Well, we hate to break it to you, but you probably can't -- yet. With a lot of practice and a little shared expertise, though, you eventually could. The Improv Trick invites folks to its Annual Christmas Jam at Mad Art Gallery (2727 South Twelfth Street; 314-922-1998 or www.theimprovtrick.com) to see what the students of the IT's "Intro to Improv" and "Experienced Improv" classes are learning -- that could be you up there next year. It's also a homecoming show for Bill Chott, the Improv Trick's guru and founder. In the spirit of Christmas, the Jam is a family-friendly show, so leave the four-letter words and filth at home when the group asks for audience suggestions. The Christmas Jam takes place at 7 p.m. this evening. Admission is free with a canned food donation at the door.
