St. Louisans love beer; it's true — are you really going to try and disagree? And despite recent corporate events that shall not be mentioned owing to the holidays, St. Louisans still take a great deal of pride in Anheuser-Busch. If you've never been on the brewery tour, this winter is the time to go. For the first time ever, you can enjoy the
Anheuser-Busch Holiday Light Tours, which are free, guided tours of the brewery at night, under the twinkling of that famous Christmas-light display. Meet at the Anheuser-Busch Tour Center (1127 Pestalozzi Street; 314-577-2626 or
www.budweisertours.com) between 6 and 9 p.m. on Friday, December 11 and 18. Tours depart every half hour, taking you inside the historic brew house, the Clydesdales stable and the Bevo packaging facility. Tours also include a visit to the gift shop (in case you have to do a little close-to-last-minute shopping).
Fridays. Starts: Dec. 11. Continues through Dec. 18, 2009
