Since she received her first camera at age eight, Kathleen Sanker has been unstoppable. Now an adult, the local photographer takes gallery-goers into the beds of strangers through her "Unmade Bed" series, now at the Ellen Curlee Gallery (1308 Washington Avenue; 314-241-1299) as a part of the current show, Lingering Presence. Sanker's portion of the exhibit features photos of a bevy of unmade beds, through which she explores the boundaries between public and private — and invites viewers to do the same. Lingering Presence also features the photographs in Barbara McDonnell's "Homestead" series, which focuses on documenting the memory of a space. St. Louis art aficionados have the opportunity to be voyeurs-sans-binoculars anytime Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; the show remains up through Saturday, May 6.
