Live, with Tape

Red Green, the subversively simple comedian behind Canada's long-running Red Green Show, is currently on the road with his solo show of brand-new material, How To Do Everything. Green made his career by gently mocking the he-man industry of your Tim Allens and Larry the Cable Guys on a show that was similar to Garrison Keillor's A Prairie Home Companion, but funny. Dressed in his standard flannel and red-and-green suspenders, Green pontificated on wives, household chores and the joys of duct tape, occasionally in song form. Expect tips and insights into relationships, politics and DIY home renovations from a man who knows he doesn't know, but is ready to share anyway. Green performs at 8 p.m. at the River City Casino (777 River City Casino Boulevard; 314-388-7777 or www.redgreen.com). Tickets are $45 to $55.
