Think back to a favorite instructor you had in school or college -- have you seen him or her at all even once in the years since you graduated? Sadly, most of us would probably answer in the negative; perhaps a fortunate minority would say "yes," and an even luckier few "yes, regularly." Mitch Albom is among this last group. After a period of several years the professional writer reconnected with his old sociology professor, Morrie Schwartz, who was dying of ALS. The two would meet once a week and their resulting wide-ranging conversations morphed into Albom's blockbuster bestseller Tuesdays With Morrie. The book was subsequently adapted for a TV movie and finally the stage. Now Dramatic License Productions brings its theatrical version to its eponymously named theater in Chesterfield Mall (291 Chesterfield Mall, Chesterfield; 636-220-7012 or www.dramaticlicenseproductions.org). Tuesdays With Morrie is performed at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sundays (October 31 through November 17). Tickets are $18 to $25.
