Baseball and summer are old friends, but perhaps you don't see 'em as much as you like. Summer seems to disappear for a big chunk of the year, and baseball moved into one of those posh neighborhoods where you have to take out a second mortgage just to pay a visit. But you can see summer coming down the road, and baseball still hangs out in the old neighborhood — if you know where to look. The Gateway Grizzlies and the River City Rascals of the Frontier League play a four-game weekend series (7:05 p.m. Friday, 12:05 and 7:05 p.m. Saturday and 5:05 p.m. Sunday, May 28 through 39) at T.R. Hughes Ball Park (T.R. Hughes Boulevard AND Tom Ginnever Avenue, O'Fallon; 636-240-2287 or www.rivercityrascals.com), and tickets are $6 to $11. That's right, $11 for the box seats. At those prices, you can splurge on the Rascals' $2 win insurance (if they don't win, you receive a free box seat at another Rascals game). Maybe you and your old pal are gonna see a lot of each other this year.
