Be real: Most of us have felt stuck at one or multiple times in our lives. But we don't know stuck like Otzi the Iceman knows stuck. None of us has ever been frozen in place on a mountaintop for north of 5,000 years. Otzi was the name given to the perfectly preserved Neolithic man's body discovered frozen in the Austrian Alps in 1991; the succeeding 23 years of close study devoted to this rustic character have produced an abundance of invaluable fresh knowledge about the Copper Age. Dr. Patrick Hunt is one of the researchers who's worked on the Otzi project, and you can hear him relate his experiences tonight during his lecture Otzi the Iceman, A 5,300-Year-Old "Mummy," and Forensic Science at the Missouri History Museum (Lindell Boulevard and DeBaliviere Avenue; 314-746-4599 or The free event begins at 7:30 p.m.
