Krya and Tom have a lengthy and complicated history. He's a wealthy older restauranteur, and she's now a teacher. But once she worked for him, and they shared an adulterous affair. Now Tom's wife is dead, and he wants to pick up where they left off. But Kyra refuses to accede to his demands without a fight. In her small apartment, the two rehash the past, argue about the meaning of their lives and refuse to see the other's viewpoint. National Theatre Live presents a pre-recorded screening of David Hare's bracing drama Skylight, starring Bill Nighy and Carey Mulligan.
