Number One With A Bullet

Shooting out the glass ceiling

Abby is like many working women. She's good at her job, she has plenty of practical experience, and she's ambitious. So who does she have to kill to get a promotion around here? Funny you should ask; the professional killer-for-hire just can't convince her bosses that she's got what it takes, so Abby grabs the initiative and attempts to prove that she'll kill anyone, anywhere, any time. Marisa Wegrzyn's black comedy Killing Women opens HotCity Theatre's new season with a bang at 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 3 and 8 p.m. Saturday, and 7 p.m. Sunday (September 19 through October 4) at the Kranzberg Arts Center (501 North Grand Boulevard; 314-289-4063 or www.hotcitytheatre.org). Tickets are $15 to $25.
Thursdays-Sundays. Starts: Sept. 19. Continues through Oct. 4, 2008
