Old-school masters like Michelangelo slaved over their art for years and years, creating masterpieces at a snail's pace. But tonight at 7 p.m., artists of all skill levels are invited to knock out a series of collaborative works in a whirlwind evening of furious fun at the "Speed Art Meet & Greet" at the Northern Arts Council building (486 Airport Road, Ferguson). No fewer than ten works of art will be created before 10 p.m., each to be auctioned off, with proceeds benefiting the nonprofit NAC. There's no charge to participate, but tickets are required, and you need to bring your own supplies (about a grocery bag's worth is recommended).
