Davy and Peter Rothbart have made careers out of glimpsing the lives of others. The makers of
Found magazine, the Rothbart brothers collect and curate lost letters and photographs, compiling them into captivating journals that offer a survey of human interaction. In celebration of
Found's tenth anniversary, the collectors are taking their latest finds on tour, stopping in St. Louis on November 13 at Mad Art Gallery (2727 South Twelfth Street). In addition to curious found works, Davy will read excerpts of his new book of personal essays,
My Heart Is an Idiot, and Peter will perform songs based on
Found writings in promotion of his new album
You Are What You Dream. Guests are encouraged to bring and share finds. Doors open at 7 p.m.; the show begins at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $5. For more information call 314-771-8230 or visit
