The mittens may be on, but the gloves are off in the computer-animated 3D slugfest
Santa vs. the Snowman. When an inquisitive snowman visits Santa's workshop and claims dibs on worldwide gift-giving, the North Pole becomes ground zero in a fight for Christmas bragging rights.
Santa vs. the Snowman delivers a knock-down, drag-out battle royal filled not with mittened fisticuffs, but with rampaging elfin armies, legions of snow-soldiers and a 50-foot nutcracker manned by none other than Kris Kringle himself.
Santa vs. the Snowman returns to the Saint Louis Science Center's OMNIMAX Theater (5050 Oakland Avenue; 314-289-4424 or
www.slsc.org), just in time for the holidays. The film screens daily (except for Thanksgiving and Christmas) through Sunday, January 3, and tickets are $7 to $8.
