Stella, Queen of the Snow

Mermaid Theatre's Stella, Queen of the Snow presents the magic of a snow day through the eyes of Sam and his older sister Stella. Sam has never seen snow before, and he has numerous questions about things such as snowmen (Where do they come from, and what do they eat?), why fog comes out of his mouth, and where the snow goes in summer. Stella is more than happy to give him the answers, and in the true spirit of older siblings, what she doesn't know she quickly makes up. Mermaid Theatre transforms Marie-Louise Gay's storybook into a theatrical event for young audiences that features imaginative puppets, scenic effects and pre-recorded bird calls.
