These kids are cute, but leave them at home: this event is for ages sixteen and older.
Yoga practice might involve poses with names like “downward-facing dog,” but everybody knows that yoga is really all about cats.
Cats are natural yogis. They know all about stretching and twisting and saluting the sun. And now the
Animal Protective Association of Missouri (1705 S. Hanley Rd.; 314-645-4610) is making arrangements so that cats can teach humans a few things about the ancient art of yoga.
The APA is offering a new series of yoga events at its building in Brentwood in which you can get your asana on while mingling with adoptable kittens. The classes are designed for ages sixteen and older and limited to 20 participants in each session. Proceeds will benefit the APA’s adoption program.
The class is offered once each month in 2019 (starting January 23) and promises to leave you “feline good.” It’s true: yoga and kittens are exactly what you need right meow.
