Retrospective exhibit traces the life and artistic development of German-Jewish artist Max Lazarus through more than 50 paintings, lithographs and synagogue designs. Trier/St. Louis/Denver remains on display at the Sheldon Art Galleries (3648 Washington Boulevard; 314-533-9900 or www.thesheldon.org) through Saturday, May 7. The galleries are open Tuesday through Saturday.
