Michael Moschen isn't so much a juggler as he is a manipulator of physics and kinetics. He can roll glass spheres up and down his forearms so smoothly you'll suspect the balls have motors; he juggles rubber balls with his feet, and he can choreograph an achingly beautiful ballet for three PVC cylinders, each tube rolling over the other in slow motion. Moschen's brilliant innovations stem from his creativity; he envisions kinetic possibilities for everyday objects, and then he refines them until they're physical, fleeting art. Michael Moschen performs a new show involving audience participation at 7 p.m. Friday, 2 and 5 p.m. Saturday, and 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. Sunday (October 15 through 17) at the Center of Creative Arts (524 Trinity Avenue, University City; 314-725-6555 or www.cocastl.org). Tickets are $14 to $18, and the show is definitely for all ages.
